Stranger Things Fans Rejoice !!!

So last July, Netflix release their newest original series:"Stranger Things", and the internet FUCKING EXPLODED!!!

Now I know most of you are wondering why I'm posting this now and not months ago? Well It's officially Autumn, the season which season 1 of stranger things is set. And with Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner I thought now would be the perfect time to post my review of the pop culture sensation.

Stranger Things is a new Netflic Series  written and directed by Matt and Ross Duffer and executive-produced by Shawn Levy. It stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Noah Schnapp, Joe Keery, Sadie Sink, and Dacre Montgomery

So get your Christmas lights ready because Here I go!

Warning, Spoilers Ahead!

First of all: Barb...

The Heart of the Fandom. While no one knows for sure about what will happens to St. Barb. Let's face it. We're all pretty sure she's dead. However Rumor has it that there will be Justice for Barb!

The plot follows the disappearance of a young boy, and a telekinetic girl, who helps his friends in their search, while the boy's older brother, his mother, and the town police chief start their own investigations.

The Mother is played by none other than my girl Winona Ryder. Lydia Deetz herslef! I've loved Winona since i was very young, and loved watching her movies growing up. She's an amazing actress and went all out for this. She didn't just bring it. She set it down on the table and served it as well!

Nancy is Bae

Johnathan is Bae

I tottaly ship them. John and Nancy Monster Hunters! I was soooo pissed when she wound up with that Fuck Boy Steve! God I hate him!

But I totally Ship the crap out of Mike and Eleven!

And Let's just take a minute to talk about how sexy Chief Hopper is in a DaddyBear kinda way! There's something so sexy and manly about that scene where he's shirtless and smoking a cigarette.
Iv'e seen David harbour in a few things before this, but this is definately gonna make him a big star like the rest of the cast.
The show is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, and is a homage to 1980s pop culture, inspired and aesthetically informed by the works of Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter, Stephen King, Robert Zemeckis, and George Lucas, among others.

Can I just say that Dustin has effeminately won the MVP. I just love his character he's so funny! He reminds me of Chunk from the Goonies!

The show was released on Netflix on July 15, 2016. It received positive reviews for its characterization, pacing, atmosphere, acting, soundtrack, directing, writing, and homages to 1980s genre films.

But there's good news! On August 31, 2016, Netflix renewed the series for a second season of nine episodes, to be released in 2017.

Nick Offerman: All American DaddyBear

Actor Nick Offerman, or as he's more commonly known, (Parks and Recreation's "Ron Swanson") the role which put him on the map! Now you might be asking yourself how this man could be so popular in the Gay Community?

Simple: With his often bearded face, husky body type and lumberjack way of dressing Nick is a popular figure in the bear community.

as he says in his book, a slef published biagaphy

In his book: Paddel Yout Own Canoe, Nick shares his humorous fulminations on life, manliness, meat, and much more in his first book.

Growing a perfect moustache, grilling red meat, wooing a woman—who better to deliver this tutelage than the always charming, always manly Nick Offerman, best known as Parks and Recreation’s Ron Swanson?  Combining his trademark comic voice and very real expertise in woodworking—he runs his own woodshop—Paddle Your Own Canoe features tales from Offerman’s childhood in small-town Minooka, Illinois—“I grew up literally in the middle of a cornfield”—to his theater days in Chicago, beginnings as a carpenter/actor and the hilarious and magnificent seduction of his now-wife Megan Mullally.

It also offers hard-bitten battle strategies in the arenas of manliness, love, style, religion, woodworking, and outdoor recreation, among many other savory entrees.

A mix of amusing anecdotes, opinionated lessons and rants, sprinkled with offbeat gaiety, Paddle Your Own Canoe will not only tickle readers pink but may also rouse them to put down their smart phones, study a few sycamore leaves, and maybe even hand craft (and paddle) their own canoes.

I also got to point out that he did a great job in Fargo Season 2 as Karl Weathers! I haven't seen him in anything good since then except his comedy specials which are always great!

The Glass House: Rewatch

So the other day I was browsing what was on TV and a blast from the past came on in the form of 2001's The Glass House. A movie I had not seen since It first came out and I was in Middle School. I was still very young then so I went into it watching it again with fresh eyes. It filled me with a bit of nostalgia seeing the days when you had to use AOL to get on the internet and the old landlines and intercom systems.

It's like the old saying goes, "When I was a child, I saw as a child, I thought as a child, and I reasoned as a child..."

Now That I am an adult I was able to understand it in ways I had not before. At first what is assumed to be just another thriller, is actually an underated peice of Neo-Noir.

The Movie goes as Fallows. 11 year old Rhett and 16 year old Ruby are living a normal suburban life in California. Ruby comes home late one night after hanging out with her friends to discover that he parent's were killed in a car accident.

Also I wanna give a brief shout out to (Chris Noth) who plays their mother's brother, Uncle Jack. Yup that's right Sex and the City's Big is their uncle! He lives in Chicago and tho he loved his sister, he hasn't kept in touch since he moved. But tells Ruby to call if she and Rhett ever need anything!

After the funeral they are sent to live with Mr. and Mrs Glass. Their old neighbors whom their parents have known for years. They live in Malibu, California's most expensive zip code in a large post modern glass house!

The house itself feels like a charter. With it's post modern architecture, smooth metallic surfaces, and and large glass windows that stretch from ceiling to floor. It looks more like the home of a supervision than the home of a seemingly well to do couple.

The key word in that last sentence being seemingly! The movie deals mostly with that old saying that nobody really knows what goes on behind closed doors. On the surface they appear to be a happy successful couple. Terry appears to own a successful limbo company and Erin is a well respected doctor. Parts they play very well.

Not long after the Children move in Ruby discovers the Glasses have secret's of their own. Doctor Glass (Played by Diane Lane) is secretly addicted to morphine and prescription drugs. Which she steals from the hospital. And Mr. Glass. Played by (Steallan Skarsguard) is an alcoholic, who owes allot of money to dangerous men.

I also love (LeeLee Sobieski) as Ruby. The first time around I very much identified with her, even though I was closer in age to the young actor (Trevor Morgan) who played her brother Rhett. Back in the 90s he was one of my little gay crushes along with Jason Priestly and JTT.

Not only did i have a little brother to look out for as well, but I think it was because I could relate to her teenage against. When your that age where your no longer a child but not yet an adult. And you know that somethings wrong yet no one really believes you or takes you seriously because of your youth.

Anyway Leelee Sobieski is amazing in this because I always love movies with strong female characters, and the way it's written where she has to play this cat and mouse game with Mr. and Mrs. Glass. Trying to convince her father's layer and the woman from social services that somethings going on is very well written.

But what i think I love about this is the cat and mouse story-line that runs through out the movie. And it's kinda brilliant in a way because the Glasses are both addicts and addicts are very good at lying and deceiving.

Though on the surface it seems like just another thriller, to me it seems to be a very understated peice of Film Noir or Neo-Noir if you prefer. The film often features heavey uses of shadow as well as bright colors to making every frame of the film look visually beautiful making the whole thing seem like a surreal nightmare.

Which I assumed losing your parents always is, no matter what age you are! But the Scene where. Mr. Glass locks the children in the basement is straight out of (Night of The Hunter), a movie from the 1950s Which I never stop telling people to see because it's a classic example of Film Noir.

Skarsguard is definitely at his villinous best here. This was the movie that first brought him and his handsome brood to my attention. He is also responsibul for giving me a little sexual awaking, seeing him shirtless in the movie. Ugghhh why do I always fall for the bad boys?

He's villinously sexy!

Bottoms Up: Brian Bloom

While mostly a voice actor Brian Bloom is one underrated but very sexy celebrity bear with a great ass that needs it's very own appreciation post!

Spotlight On: Jason Patric

Most famously known as Micheal from the 80's horror vampire classic The Lost Boys Actor Jason Patric has always been a favorite of mine ever since I first saw him in it.

Handsome goes without saying of course. But he also has one of those deep raspy voices and a jaw that could cut through glass. Or as Gaga's character in American Story Hotel would say, "Your boy has a jawline for days!"

In Recent Years he's become a bit of a DILF which is no surprise. A part of me dose miss how he looked back in the eighties with his dark curly hair and Billy Idol punk rocker fashion with the one earring!

Personally I don't think he's in enough films. He only seems to do one every couple of years and usually only has a small part in the film. However like most of his die hard fans I totally geekout when I see him!

Most Recently as the villainous Max in The Losers.

His latest project brings him back to TV to star in season 2 of the underrated M. Night. Shyamalan show, "Wayward Pines" Described as a mix of Twin Peaks and The Prisoner.

I personally tried to get into the show during season one. However now that I know that Jason Patric is to take the lead role in season 2. I might have to give the show a second chance. After all his roles in movies are so few and far between it, it would be nice to see this sexy bear daddy of a man on a weekly basis! Who knows we might even get some shirtless scenes!!!

Like Father, Like Son: Scott Eastwood

Scott Eastwood, son of famous western actor Clint Eastwood was one of the most googled names in 2015 and with his uncanny resemblance to how much he looks like his father at his age it's no wonder we've become obsessed with the handsome young actor.

He has the same tall lanky frame that his father did in his heyday and as you'll see in the photos above bears an uncanny resemblance to him at his age! There is no doubt in my mind that Scott is going to be a big star. Already he has made a name for himself among female audience members my starring in the Nicholas Sparks movie, "The Longest Ride

Believe me when I say I am already secretly dreaming of meeting him, marrying him, moving to Montana and living on a horse ranch where Scott and I will raise our seven adopted children LOL

Originally (according to IMDB and wikipedia) He went by the Name Scott Reeves. Using his mother's last name to avoid nepotism. During this time he was in a few of his father's movies. such as "flags of our fathers" and "Grain Torino" after that in 2009 he saw the power that the Eastwood Surname had and became Scott Eastwood.

It wasn't until recently in 2015 that his career really began to take of. With movies like "Dawn Patrol" and "The Longest Ride" probably because we got to see some skin! His Body is amazing by the way. God I just want to lick him from head to toe! *umpf

But what I'm most excited about other than his next film Diablo is his role in Suicied Squad; rumor has it he might be Deathstroke Robin or Nightwing undercover. How great would that be? Scott Eastwood as Nightwing! I'm not even a DC fan but I seriously can't wait for that movie!

Shut Up: "Princess Diaries 3" Officially in the works!!!

Recently the Internet has been all abuzz with rumors of a new Princess Diaries movie making this the which would make this an official trilogy, Director Gary Marshal himself recently confirmed the Rumors are true. He and actress Anne Hataway are teaming up to make Princess Diaries 3

It’s been 14 years since Anne Hathaway returned as Crown Princess of Genovia, Amelia “Mia” Thermopolis, in The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement. Since then, the actress has won an Oscar for her turn in Les Misérables, and she’s taken some pretty big roles in films such as The Devil Wears Prada, The Dark Knight Rises, Alice in Wonderland and more. But it sounds like she may be heading back to Disney princess territory again.

I for one could"t be happier as this was the film that first brought the wonderful Anne Hathaway into my life!

I'm super excited to see the sequal because in the second movie, "Princess Diaries 2: a royal engagement" [Spoilers] Mia ends up with Nicholas played by actor Chris Pine before he got super famous playing the new version of Captain Kirk in the Star Trek franchise!

Tho we are unaware of the plot at this point one thing I hope for certain I see other than Mia's adorable cat Fat Louie, is More Chris Pine!!! And Definitely More of Julie Andrews!!!

Comics: Huck

So the other day while on Tumblr I discovered this new Comic Book series called Huck. Written by Mark Millar and art by Rafael Albuquerque

In a quiet seaside town, Huck uses his special gifts to do a good deed each day. His neighbors return the favors by keeping his abilities a secret. But when a newcomer alerts the media, a firestorm erupts, sending Huck on an adventure that will change everything!

After reading  about this  a little bit and seeing how much the main character looked like Channing Tatum (Who I hope plays him in a movie should there ever be one!!!) I immediately drove to my local comic book store purchased the first four issues because I simply could not wait for the graphic novel!

Needless to say I was not disappointed. I immediately fell in love with the sweet simple Huck who is  a bit reminiscent of Lenny from John Steinbeck's of Mice and Men. Minus the dead rabbits of course...

As for what super powers Huck has: he's super fast and super strong as well as invulnerable and is able to leap tall buildings withing a single bound. Also he seems to have some sort of psychic tracking ability! or as Ms. Taylor says. "He's very good at finding things that are lost!"

Very little is known about Huck's origins. But his earliest known moment dates back to when the two ladies who ran the orphanage discovered him in a basket on their doorstep, with a note that simply says, "Please Love Him." From that day onward, the orphanage raised him and taught him to do a good deed everyday!

The thing I think I love most about Huck is that he doesn't use his powers to do good for fame or fortune. He just dose good to be good!

I would also like to add that I've been a big fan of the writer Mark Millar. I was a ravenous reader of his Ultimate X-Men series and absolutely loved his Superman: Red Son graphic novel! Which was set in an alternate reality where superman landed in Russia and became a communist superhero!

And the artist Rafael Albuquerque I am familiar with from his work on the American Vampire series which I have been ravenously reading and pick up a new volume each time I go into the comic store because t's just so good! I'll definitely have to write a review on that very soon!

Before I end this though I must mention the covers and how the varrients are inspired by classic Hollywood movies like Feild of Dreams, The Goonies, The Blues Brothers, and E.T. The Extra Terrestrial. I only have the varients to issues one and four sadly. But no matter what cover you have you'll definately love the story!

The McDanno of it All

What is it about Steve and Danny that causes us to tune in each week, hopping that the writers will finally give into high fan demand and turn this romance into a romance?

I first tuned in to watched the pilot episode of Hawaii Five-O for one reason, and his name is Scott Caan!

Originally in my younger years I had a very big crush on his father legendary Actor James Caan who I first saw in the 1976 scifi classic, RollerBall. Famous among the gay community for it's great locker room scene filled with half naked men, and James himself sitting around in a only a towel.

Imagine my surprise when in 2009 I discovered he had a son, who was even more of bear than he was! After some googling - and looking him up on the web...LOL

I discovered that early in his career when he was a little bear cub and I was a little gay boy. He was significantly nude in a few of his movies. Most notably Varsity Blues (pictured to the right) also; Speed of life, Ready to Rumble, and Boiler Room.

Then of course they announced that there was going to be a new Hawaii Five-O and that Scott Caan was going to play Danno! Well you had me at Scott Caan!

Now in it's sixth season a strange but wonderful shipping fandom has developed among some of the more diehard fans like myself, and it's called McDanno. Involving the pairing of Lt. Commander Steve Mcgarret and Detective Danny (Danno) Williams...

Don't believe it's a thing? Well then just look up the Mcdanno tag on Tumblr or any FanFiction site. Though it's not cannon the actors and the writers are somewhat self aware of it the way the actors on supernatural are aware of Wincest and Destiel.

Personally I love the idea of the idea of Steve and Danny together on the show. There are moment's where I'm watching the show and the feels just hit me sooo hard. Then I think their finally gonna kiss, and of course, they don't!

Also I just hate Kathrine. I think: "If it weren't for her Steve and Danny would finally be able to get together!!!"

I sometimes wonder if Scott Caan is aware of how much of a gay fallowing he has? I mean he has to right? otherwise why else would he pose for this!

I've read some articles calling him an Otter, which is in the Bear family and usually describes men who are hairy and short like him.

Though despite his short stature he's very sexy. He's got this tough muscular and swaggering body and these pugilistic facial features. as well as a thick head of wavy blond hair!

Traditionally his tough guy attitude would make him a total top. But when compared to Steve I often picture Danny as the bottom. Especially with that beautiful bubble but of his!

I don"t know. Who do you guys think the top is in the relationship?

Who Ya Gonna Call..?

Okay I'll admit it!

At first, I was dead set against the Ghostbusters Remake. I thought: Why the hell do they got to infringe on a classic? There's no beating a timeless classic! They're ruining my childhood!

However after seeing the Trailer for it I have to say I'm actually kinda excited to see it! It seems that this movie is fallowing in the footsteps of Jurassic World and treating it as a homage to the original series rather than going the way of a full blown remake!

Switching the genders of the cast and making an all female Team mostly filled with SNL alum, and adding Liam Hemsworth (The Hotter Hemsworth Brother, in my opinion...) to the cast as the male secretary. Is simply a stroke of genius.

Also before I saw the trailer it hadn't occurred to me how awesome the ghosts were going to look! Thanks to the great technological advancements in special effects thanks to CGI! This movie looks equal parts scary as it dose hilarious!!!

Mark Ruffalo"s Hairy Chest

In retrospect: I first took notice of Mark Ruffalo In my early teens when I saw the Jenifer Garner Rom-Com 13 going on 30 when he played the grown up version of her childhood friend and boy next door, Matt.

However I didn't"t begin really crushing on him until about 2005. That year he did two romantic Comedies. Just like Heaven, and Rumor has it. The latter of the two being the better flick in my opinion!

From then on seeing him in movie's was always exciting for me!

The Kid's Are All Right really appealed to me as a gay man. I thought it was funny that a lesbian mom has an affair with her children's sperm doner father...

It also helped that there was a sex scene where I got to see Ruffallo's butt. Seeing him pound Julian Moore really turned me on, I was like Damn! I wish I were her!

I can"t tell you how happy I was when I first heard they were recasting him as Doctor Bruce Banner aka The Hulk when they were making the avengers movie. With all do respect to Edward Norton and Eric Bana. Mark is definitely my favorite. With his soft spoken voice he made him a perfect contrast to the rage of The Hulk!

After that as Will Ferrell's Character from Zoolander would say, "He's so hot right now!"

He became a household name and wasn't only popular with gay men who loved bearish men! I Always loved how hair he was. I still imagine myself running my fingers through his hair chest! Not to mention his lips wish are very kissibul...

Then something Wonderful Happened!

HBO made The Normal Heart! A Movie where Mark Ruffalo Finally played a gay man. And one who had Matt Bomer as a boyfriend! Yes I know this is a movie set in the 80s during the AIDs crisses and is very sad. But It's was still a good movie and proof to me that god exsists and wants me to be happy! LOL

Late to the Episodes Bandwagon

So I may be late to the Bandwagon (as usual with all really good series) However after sitting down and binged watching 3 seasons on Showtime On Demand last night! I am proud to say that I have become a bigger fanatic than Matt's Stalker.

The plot basically revolves around Husband and Wife sitcom writer's Sean and Beverly Linclon  who are approached an an award ceremony by a Hollywood TV producer to adapt their award winning British show into an american version.

Long Story short, Thing's don"t go according to plan. The original star from the British series is replaced by actor Matt Leblanc aka Joey from FRIENDS who plays a self-destructive, womanizing, alcoholic, parody of himself in the show! And thanks to him the original show is eventually changed so much it become a huge pile of crap called PUCKS!!!
Though I was never really into Leblanc during his time on Friends. But much like a good bottle of wine, he's only gotten better with age.

I have to say that in recent years. Especially now he's become a real silver fox! [Spoilers] So I can't say I blame Beverly for sleeping with him! After all it's established in the very first few episodes that he also has a very big penis as well!!!]

As for Sean and Beverly. Right from the start their relationship seems to be tested right from the moment they land in LA. Everyone and everything seems to keep them apart. Including the bloody bathtub that takes a million years to fill up!

My personal favorite of the two is Beverly aka actress  because I'm familiar with her Character Fran from the short lived cult classic British TV series, Black Books! (which is on Netflix FYI) and similar to Black Books her character has that same dry wit that used to make me laugh out loud!

and I love this running gag they have where they all keep running into Sean and Beverly's old assitant Andrew! And How he's making it where their failing epically in every way. FE: His screenplay is getting made into a movie with Matt Daemon and Kira Knightly. He's Directing, He's making a another movie, and a TV show for fox based on Sean and Beverly's shitty marriage!

Anyway if you love Matt Leblanc's hairy chest and comedy shows that retain a meta humor about themselves then I definitely recommend this one!

The other J.K. From my Youth

I first took note of J.K. Simmons back in the early 2000's when he played the villainous white supremacist Vern Schillinger in HBO's Oz. As a gay pre-teen with raging hormone's - I can't tell you how many of the men in that show (Christopher Meloni Especially) Became member's of my spank bank!!!

However Simmons stood out especially I think because he was as bad as they could get in Oz. There was something so deliciously low about him, and I loved the way he dominated Tobias Beecher which appealed to the little submissive in me!

I especially loved the scene to the left with Simmons showing off his soles. He has really sexy feet!

From then on J.K. Was always favorite of mine. I especially loved seeing him in Spiderman as J.J. Jamson from the Spiderman movies. Seeing him with hair was a nice change from his usual bald appearance on Oz. I especially love seeing him with a little grey at the temples and how I was often able to see him smoke a cigar.

After that sadly I didn't see much of him. Mostly just a string of voice acting in cartoons and bit parts in TV shows and movies. Most notably as the dad in Juno! Then of course those of you who weren't even aware of who he was knew him from the farmers insurance commercials. Which sadly i thought were beneath him. but obviously he was a struggling...

Then at last he finally got a starring role in Whiplash which won him the Oscar. And rightfully so. seeing the trailer, took me back to those early teenage years when I would get a little turned on watching him yell and get angry. He plays Bad guys so well, I'm not surprised he won the Oscar!!!
