Stranger Things Fans Rejoice !!!

So last July, Netflix release their newest original series:"Stranger Things", and the internet FUCKING EXPLODED!!!

Now I know most of you are wondering why I'm posting this now and not months ago? Well It's officially Autumn, the season which season 1 of stranger things is set. And with Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner I thought now would be the perfect time to post my review of the pop culture sensation.

Stranger Things is a new Netflic Series  written and directed by Matt and Ross Duffer and executive-produced by Shawn Levy. It stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Noah Schnapp, Joe Keery, Sadie Sink, and Dacre Montgomery

So get your Christmas lights ready because Here I go!

Warning, Spoilers Ahead!

First of all: Barb...

The Heart of the Fandom. While no one knows for sure about what will happens to St. Barb. Let's face it. We're all pretty sure she's dead. However Rumor has it that there will be Justice for Barb!

The plot follows the disappearance of a young boy, and a telekinetic girl, who helps his friends in their search, while the boy's older brother, his mother, and the town police chief start their own investigations.

The Mother is played by none other than my girl Winona Ryder. Lydia Deetz herslef! I've loved Winona since i was very young, and loved watching her movies growing up. She's an amazing actress and went all out for this. She didn't just bring it. She set it down on the table and served it as well!

Nancy is Bae

Johnathan is Bae

I tottaly ship them. John and Nancy Monster Hunters! I was soooo pissed when she wound up with that Fuck Boy Steve! God I hate him!

But I totally Ship the crap out of Mike and Eleven!

And Let's just take a minute to talk about how sexy Chief Hopper is in a DaddyBear kinda way! There's something so sexy and manly about that scene where he's shirtless and smoking a cigarette.
Iv'e seen David harbour in a few things before this, but this is definately gonna make him a big star like the rest of the cast.
The show is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, and is a homage to 1980s pop culture, inspired and aesthetically informed by the works of Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter, Stephen King, Robert Zemeckis, and George Lucas, among others.

Can I just say that Dustin has effeminately won the MVP. I just love his character he's so funny! He reminds me of Chunk from the Goonies!

The show was released on Netflix on July 15, 2016. It received positive reviews for its characterization, pacing, atmosphere, acting, soundtrack, directing, writing, and homages to 1980s genre films.

But there's good news! On August 31, 2016, Netflix renewed the series for a second season of nine episodes, to be released in 2017.

Nick Offerman: All American DaddyBear

Actor Nick Offerman, or as he's more commonly known, (Parks and Recreation's "Ron Swanson") the role which put him on the map! Now you might be asking yourself how this man could be so popular in the Gay Community?

Simple: With his often bearded face, husky body type and lumberjack way of dressing Nick is a popular figure in the bear community.

as he says in his book, a slef published biagaphy

In his book: Paddel Yout Own Canoe, Nick shares his humorous fulminations on life, manliness, meat, and much more in his first book.

Growing a perfect moustache, grilling red meat, wooing a woman—who better to deliver this tutelage than the always charming, always manly Nick Offerman, best known as Parks and Recreation’s Ron Swanson?  Combining his trademark comic voice and very real expertise in woodworking—he runs his own woodshop—Paddle Your Own Canoe features tales from Offerman’s childhood in small-town Minooka, Illinois—“I grew up literally in the middle of a cornfield”—to his theater days in Chicago, beginnings as a carpenter/actor and the hilarious and magnificent seduction of his now-wife Megan Mullally.

It also offers hard-bitten battle strategies in the arenas of manliness, love, style, religion, woodworking, and outdoor recreation, among many other savory entrees.

A mix of amusing anecdotes, opinionated lessons and rants, sprinkled with offbeat gaiety, Paddle Your Own Canoe will not only tickle readers pink but may also rouse them to put down their smart phones, study a few sycamore leaves, and maybe even hand craft (and paddle) their own canoes.

I also got to point out that he did a great job in Fargo Season 2 as Karl Weathers! I haven't seen him in anything good since then except his comedy specials which are always great!

The Glass House: Rewatch

So the other day I was browsing what was on TV and a blast from the past came on in the form of 2001's The Glass House. A movie I had not seen since It first came out and I was in Middle School. I was still very young then so I went into it watching it again with fresh eyes. It filled me with a bit of nostalgia seeing the days when you had to use AOL to get on the internet and the old landlines and intercom systems.

It's like the old saying goes, "When I was a child, I saw as a child, I thought as a child, and I reasoned as a child..."

Now That I am an adult I was able to understand it in ways I had not before. At first what is assumed to be just another thriller, is actually an underated peice of Neo-Noir.

The Movie goes as Fallows. 11 year old Rhett and 16 year old Ruby are living a normal suburban life in California. Ruby comes home late one night after hanging out with her friends to discover that he parent's were killed in a car accident.

Also I wanna give a brief shout out to (Chris Noth) who plays their mother's brother, Uncle Jack. Yup that's right Sex and the City's Big is their uncle! He lives in Chicago and tho he loved his sister, he hasn't kept in touch since he moved. But tells Ruby to call if she and Rhett ever need anything!

After the funeral they are sent to live with Mr. and Mrs Glass. Their old neighbors whom their parents have known for years. They live in Malibu, California's most expensive zip code in a large post modern glass house!

The house itself feels like a charter. With it's post modern architecture, smooth metallic surfaces, and and large glass windows that stretch from ceiling to floor. It looks more like the home of a supervision than the home of a seemingly well to do couple.

The key word in that last sentence being seemingly! The movie deals mostly with that old saying that nobody really knows what goes on behind closed doors. On the surface they appear to be a happy successful couple. Terry appears to own a successful limbo company and Erin is a well respected doctor. Parts they play very well.

Not long after the Children move in Ruby discovers the Glasses have secret's of their own. Doctor Glass (Played by Diane Lane) is secretly addicted to morphine and prescription drugs. Which she steals from the hospital. And Mr. Glass. Played by (Steallan Skarsguard) is an alcoholic, who owes allot of money to dangerous men.

I also love (LeeLee Sobieski) as Ruby. The first time around I very much identified with her, even though I was closer in age to the young actor (Trevor Morgan) who played her brother Rhett. Back in the 90s he was one of my little gay crushes along with Jason Priestly and JTT.

Not only did i have a little brother to look out for as well, but I think it was because I could relate to her teenage against. When your that age where your no longer a child but not yet an adult. And you know that somethings wrong yet no one really believes you or takes you seriously because of your youth.

Anyway Leelee Sobieski is amazing in this because I always love movies with strong female characters, and the way it's written where she has to play this cat and mouse game with Mr. and Mrs. Glass. Trying to convince her father's layer and the woman from social services that somethings going on is very well written.

But what i think I love about this is the cat and mouse story-line that runs through out the movie. And it's kinda brilliant in a way because the Glasses are both addicts and addicts are very good at lying and deceiving.

Though on the surface it seems like just another thriller, to me it seems to be a very understated peice of Film Noir or Neo-Noir if you prefer. The film often features heavey uses of shadow as well as bright colors to making every frame of the film look visually beautiful making the whole thing seem like a surreal nightmare.

Which I assumed losing your parents always is, no matter what age you are! But the Scene where. Mr. Glass locks the children in the basement is straight out of (Night of The Hunter), a movie from the 1950s Which I never stop telling people to see because it's a classic example of Film Noir.

Skarsguard is definitely at his villinous best here. This was the movie that first brought him and his handsome brood to my attention. He is also responsibul for giving me a little sexual awaking, seeing him shirtless in the movie. Ugghhh why do I always fall for the bad boys?

He's villinously sexy!

Bottoms Up: Brian Bloom

While mostly a voice actor Brian Bloom is one underrated but very sexy celebrity bear with a great ass that needs it's very own appreciation post!

Spotlight On: Jason Patric

Most famously known as Micheal from the 80's horror vampire classic The Lost Boys Actor Jason Patric has always been a favorite of mine ever since I first saw him in it.

Handsome goes without saying of course. But he also has one of those deep raspy voices and a jaw that could cut through glass. Or as Gaga's character in American Story Hotel would say, "Your boy has a jawline for days!"

In Recent Years he's become a bit of a DILF which is no surprise. A part of me dose miss how he looked back in the eighties with his dark curly hair and Billy Idol punk rocker fashion with the one earring!

Personally I don't think he's in enough films. He only seems to do one every couple of years and usually only has a small part in the film. However like most of his die hard fans I totally geekout when I see him!

Most Recently as the villainous Max in The Losers.

His latest project brings him back to TV to star in season 2 of the underrated M. Night. Shyamalan show, "Wayward Pines" Described as a mix of Twin Peaks and The Prisoner.

I personally tried to get into the show during season one. However now that I know that Jason Patric is to take the lead role in season 2. I might have to give the show a second chance. After all his roles in movies are so few and far between it, it would be nice to see this sexy bear daddy of a man on a weekly basis! Who knows we might even get some shirtless scenes!!!

Like Father, Like Son: Scott Eastwood

Scott Eastwood, son of famous western actor Clint Eastwood was one of the most googled names in 2015 and with his uncanny resemblance to how much he looks like his father at his age it's no wonder we've become obsessed with the handsome young actor.

He has the same tall lanky frame that his father did in his heyday and as you'll see in the photos above bears an uncanny resemblance to him at his age! There is no doubt in my mind that Scott is going to be a big star. Already he has made a name for himself among female audience members my starring in the Nicholas Sparks movie, "The Longest Ride

Believe me when I say I am already secretly dreaming of meeting him, marrying him, moving to Montana and living on a horse ranch where Scott and I will raise our seven adopted children LOL

Originally (according to IMDB and wikipedia) He went by the Name Scott Reeves. Using his mother's last name to avoid nepotism. During this time he was in a few of his father's movies. such as "flags of our fathers" and "Grain Torino" after that in 2009 he saw the power that the Eastwood Surname had and became Scott Eastwood.

It wasn't until recently in 2015 that his career really began to take of. With movies like "Dawn Patrol" and "The Longest Ride" probably because we got to see some skin! His Body is amazing by the way. God I just want to lick him from head to toe! *umpf

But what I'm most excited about other than his next film Diablo is his role in Suicied Squad; rumor has it he might be Deathstroke Robin or Nightwing undercover. How great would that be? Scott Eastwood as Nightwing! I'm not even a DC fan but I seriously can't wait for that movie!
